2010 Stony Creek XC 30 Mile Marathon AKA My First Race!

I wrote this awhile back but I decided to post recapping a race last season.
That summer day had made itself present as my bladder had me at the bushes every 5 minutes before it began. The cowbells were ringing and waves of riders began their journey as this was my first attempt at this grueling adventure.  The long nights of training would pay off if I focused.  I went on and made it to the final 5 miles and surprising passing a large amount of people. I blocked everything out of my mind and knew that pain is just weakness leaving the body.  My day inevitably came to a close and I wound up winning first place in my age group.
Time to step it up this year riding in the Sport category.

Huge Life Plans.

We find out if we get into Leadville in 9 days, very excited!

Life Decision:  I am going to be pursuing a blending of Eastern and Western medicine approaches for wellbeing.

  1. I am a fan of Holistic, functional, and alternative medicine that addresses the root cause and progresses a person through their performance.
  2. I want a solid and supportive family that we can learn, teach, and share experiences together.
  3. I want a career that is rewarding.
  4. I am confident, humble, responsible, and respectful.
  5. I want to be happy.
  6. I am the creator of my reality while helping to raise the vibration of this planet.
  7. I am trusting of Gaia for guidance, wisdom, and collaboration.
I have decided on getting a Doctorate of Physiotherapy Degree (DPT).  I feel that this type of work can most relate to my lifestyle, passions, and address the dysfunctions plaguing people. The path that I take will be worth the effort.
